Broadway veteran Jessica Keenan Wynn (Beautiful: The Carole King Musical) has been added to the cast of Universal’s Mamma Mia! sequel movie, Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again!

According to IMDB, Wynn will take on the role of Young Tanya, counterpart to Christine Baranski who reprises the role she played in the original 2008 film. Wynn made her Broadway debut as Cynthia Weil in the cast of Beautiful and starred as Heather Chandler in the off-Broadway musical Heathers.

The sequel will also bring the return of original stars Meryl Streep (Donna), Amanda Seyfried (Sophie), Dominic Cooper (Sky), Pierce Brosnan (Sam), and Colin Firth (Harry). Jeremy Irvine joins the cast as Young Sam, and Alexa Davies will play Young Rosie.

With a soundtrack full of ABBA songs not featured in the first film as well as some reprised favorites, Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again! comes from the producers of the original Mamma Mia! film: Littlestar's Judy Craymer and Playtone's Gary Goetzman. Craymer is also the creator and producer of the hit stage musical. Ol Parker, writer of The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, writes and directs. Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus are aboard again to provide music and lyrics and serve as executive producers.

The musical film will be released by Universal Pictures on July 20, 2018.
