Jeremy Webb will star as Atticus Finch in the Dallas Theater Center run of DTC and Casa Manana Theatre’s co-production of To Kill a Mockingbird, when it performs at the AT&T Performing Arts Center in Dallas, October 21 – November 20. For the Casa Manana run, the role was originally played by Jonathan Crombie, who had to leave the production due to illness.

Adapted from the novel by Harper Lee, the play tells two stories set in a small southern town. One of the stories follows attorney Atticus Finch and his defense of a wrongly accused man. The other follows his bright, young daughter, Scout, as she learns the realities of irrational hatred and discovers her own goodness. Wendy Dann directs the production.

As previously reported, the cast will also include Akin Babatunde (Reverend Sykes), Pam Daugherty (Mrs. Dubose), Greg Dulcie (Judge/Cunningham), James Dybas (Bob Ewell), Matthew Gray (Heck Tate), Bob Hess (Mr. Gilmer), Dawson Holder (Walter), Aiden Langford (Dill), Denis Lee (Calpurnia), Anastasia Munoz (Mayella), David Allen Norton (Jem), Van Quattro (Boo Radley), Bob Reed (Doctor/Clerk), Morgan Richards (Scout), Akron Watson (Tom Robinson), and Sally Nystuen Vahle (Miss Maudie).

The production will feature costume design by Jennifer Ables, lighting design by Brian Bembridge, scenic design by Donna Marquet, and sound design and original music by Sarah Pickett.

Webb won a Drama Desk award for his performance in Tabletop, with other stage credits including The Glorious Ones, The Visit, The 39 Steps, The Producers and Spamalot.
