Emerging talents will be showcased by Broadway stars at Feinstein’s/54 Below this summer.

Beginning July 30, Feinstein’s/54 Below presents New Writers At 54, a summer series showcasing work by today’s emerging voices in musical theater, curated by Creative and Programming Director Jennifer Ashley Tepper.

The series will feature the work of Julia Meinwald & Gordon Leary (July 30 at 7pm); Alexander Sage Oyen (July 30 at 9:30pm); Sam Salmond (July 31 at 7pm), directed by Sarna Lapine (Sunday in the Park With George); Eli Bolin (August 2 at 9:30pm), directed by Tony nominee Moritz von Stuelpnagel (Present Laughter); Timothy Huang (August 8 at 9:30pm); Sam Willmott (August 10 at 9:30pm), directed by Sammi Cannold (Ragtime on Ellis Island) with music direction by Madeline Smith; Katie Thompson (August 13 at 7pm), directed by Ben Rauhala; Eric Price (August 13 at 9:30pm), directed by Price & Haley Bennett with music direction by Andy Einhorn; Kailey Marshall (August 14 at 9:30pm); Sukari Jones & Troy Anthony (August 15 at 9:30pm), directed by Shariffa Ali with associate direction by Schuyler Girion and music direction by Darius Smith; Michael Mott (August 19 at 7pm), presenting his new musical In the Light in concert, featuring a book by Nathan Wright and Justin Silvestri and directed by Jeff Whiting; Ben Chavez & Yianni Papadimos (August 27 at 9:30pm); Jacob Yandura & Rebekah Greer Melocik (August 28 at 9:30pm), directed by Jenny Leon with music direction and arrangements by Matt Gallagher; Noel Carey (August 30 at 9:30pm); and Joe Kinosian & Kellen Blair (August 31 at 9:30pm).

Some of the performers slated to join the series include Jeremy Jordan (Newsies), Okieriete Onaodowan (Hamilton), Kate Baldwin (Hello, Dolly!), Teal Wicks (Finding Neverland), Gideon Glick (Significant Other), Nick Blaemire (Found), Lilli Cooper (SpongeBob SquarePants), Will Roland (Dear Evan Hansen), Taylor Trensch (Hello, Dolly!), Adam Chanler-Berat (Amélie), Ryan Silverman (Side Show), Tony Sheldon (Amélie), Jarrod Spector (Beautiful: The Carole King Musical), Sierra Boggess (The Phantom of the Opera), and more.
