James Braly, Reno, et al. Set for Dixon Place in Spring 2010

Dixon Place has announced its spring 2010 line-up, which will feature the world premiere of Asylum (April 16-May 22), written and performed by James Braly, and directed by Seth Barrish. In the piece, based on true events, a high school pothead checks himself a psychiatric hospital.

Another highlight will be Reno’s new show, Money Talks with Citizen Reno (April 5-May 17), in which the writer/performer will bring a finance professional onstage with her each night as she takes a look at Wall Street.

Ethan Heard will direct the new music-theater piece The Gay Ivy (April 5), which he co-conceived with Thomas Dolan & Megan Stern and which features material by Bix Bettwy, Kyle Ewalt, Greg Edwards, Laura Jacqmin, Kyle Jarrow, Haitham Jendoubi, Eric Kubo, Gordon Leary, Deb Margolin, Julia Meinwald, Michael Mitnick, Bradford Proctor, Zak Sandler, Michael Walker & Lauren Yee. Marti Gould Cummings will host the open mic series Broadway Speaks Out presents: TAKE THE MIc (April 26, May 24, June 28).

Spring events will also include work by Gabriella Barnstone, Bindelstiff Family Cirkus, Lisa Rafaela Clair & Adam Collignon, Lulu Fogarty, Kim Katzberg, Ethan Lipton, Shelly Mars & Kirby, Charlotte Meehan, Julian Mesri, Kestutis Nakas, Jill Pangallo, Isaac Rathbone, James Scruggs, Samuael Topiary, Laura Von Holt, and more.
