New York City
Snyder will toast his first Christmas in New York with a December 1 concert.
"I'm here in New York at holiday time for the first time," says James Snyder, who performs opposite Idina Menzel in Broadway's If/Then. Snyder will celebrate the holidays and remember his West Coast roots in his December 1 show at 54 Below, titled A First New York Holiday Road With Friends. "I'm singing songs that got me here to New York, and songs from my life that spoke to me," he says of the concert, which will feature an appearance from his Cry-Baby costar Elizabeth Stanley (currently in On the Town), among others.
But even Broadway stars get homesick. One of the songs he sings is "Please Come Home for Christmas," and it's a wish he has for himself deep down. "I miss home in California," Snyder says of his decision to present this rock-and-roll favorite. Watch him belt to the rooftops in the video below.
