Tony Award nominee Howard Witt is set to star in the Timeline Theatre Company’s production of Trumbo, by Christopher Trumbo, which will be directed by Louis Contey, May 4 – June 2.
Trumbo is based on the letters of Dalton Trumbo, the legendary screenwriter who stood up to the House Un-American Activities Committee in 1947 and was subsequently jailed and blacklisted as one of the “Hollywood Ten.” Witt (Dalton Trumbo) will be joined on stage by David Parkes (Narrator).
Witt’s recent credits include King Lear (Goodman Theatre), and a tour of The Time of Your Life (Steppenwolf Theatre). He is a Tony, Drama Desk and Ovation Award nominee for his performance in Death of a Salesman.
