Disney's much anticipated Broadway-bound production of Frozen is just a few short weeks from beginning performances on August 17 at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts. The production is based on the hit 2013 animated film and features music and lyrics by the creators of the film score Kristen Anderson-Lopez (In Transit) and EGOT winner Robert Lopez (The Book of Mormon) and a book by Jennifer Lee (Zootopia), the film's screenwriter and director (with Chris Buck). Tony winner Michael Grandage (Red) directs, with choreography by Tony winner Rob Ashford (Thoroughly Modern Millie).

Frozen moves to Broadway's St. James Theatre in next spring.
