David Lindsay-Abaire’s new play at Manhattan Theatre Club also stars Marylouise Burke.
Manhattan Theatre Club's production of David Lindsay-Abaire's new comedy Ripcord celebrated its opening night on October 20 at New York City Center – Stage I.
Directed by Tony and Emmy winner David Hyde Pierce, the production stars Marylouise Burke (Fish in the Dark), Emmy winner Holland Taylor (Ann), Rachel Dratch (Saturday Night Live), Glenn Fitzgerald (The Sixth Sense), Daoud Heidami (Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo), and Nate Miller (Of Good Stock).
Taylor plays Abby, a cantankerous tenant at the Bristol Palace Assisted Living Facility, who is forced to share her quarters with the infuriatingly chipper Marilyn (Drama Desk winner Burke), and turns their relationship into a dangerous game of one-upmanship.
