Hogan, Scanavino, et al. to Star in Rainbow Kiss

Full cast and creative team information has been announced for the U.S. premiere of Simon Farquhar’s Rainbow Kiss, to be presented by The Play Company at 59E59 Theaters, March 12-April 13, with an opening set for March 22. Will Frears is set to direct.

The play concerns a single father who stakes his future on a one-night stand with an upwardly mobile beautician he meets at a club.

The cast will include Michael Cates, Robert Hogan, Charlotte Parry, and Peter Scanavino. The creative team will include Thomas Lynch (set), Sarah Beers (costumes), Tyler Micoleau (lighting), and Drew Levy (sound).

This is Farquhar debut stage play, which premiered to critical acclaim at the Royal Court Theatre in April 2006. Frears’ New York directing credits include The Water’s Edge, Pen, Omnium Gatherum, Where We’re Born, and God Hates The Irish.
