Amandine features a book and lyrics by Winter Miller (In Darfur) and music and lyrics by Emmy Award-winning composer Lance Horne (Songs From an Unmade Bed). Drama Desk Award-winning director Josh Hecht (Out of Iceland) helms the production.
The cast will feature Nathan Lee Graham (Priscilla, Queen of the Desert), Tony Award winner Tonya Pinkins (Caroline, or Change), Alexandra Silber (Master Class), Natalie Joy Johnson (Legally Blonde), and downtown cabaret favorite Our Lady J, who will also serve as music director.
Miller, who wrote the book, is known for such plays as The Penetration Play, The Arrival, Paternity, Home/Away, and Conspicuous. Horne is a popular composer who has worked with Alan Cumming and Meow Meow. In addition to winning the Daytime Emmy for Best Original Song, he has received the Jonathan Larson Award and a Bistro Award, among many other honors. His debut album First Things Last was released on Yellow Sound Label.
Glick starred in the Broadway and Off-Broadway productions of Spring Awakening. His other Off-Broadway credits include Into the Woods, Wild Animals You Should Know, and Speech and Debate. He was recently named in Out Magazine‘s “Out 100” list, which recognizes the country’s most interesting LGBT people. Fellow cast member Out Lady J appeared on the same list in 2010.
