The Pearl Theatre Company will conclude its 25th anniversary season with a production Tennessee Williams’ Vieux Carré, to run May 12-June 14. The production, which open officially on May 27, will be directed by Austin Pendleton.
The play, which had a very brief run on Broadway in 1977, is set in a dilapidated New Orleans boarding house filled with outcasts.
The cast will feature Rachel Botchan (Jane), Joseph Collins (Tye), Beth Dixon (Mary), Sean McNall (The Writer), George Morfogen (Nightingale), Pamela Payton-Wright (Carrie), Christian Pedersen (Sky), Claudia Robinson (Nursie), and Carol Schultz (Mrs. Wire).
The creative team includes Harry Feiner (sets), Barbara A. Bell (costumes), Stephen Petrilli (lighting), and Jane Shaw (sound).
