Full cast and creative team information have been announced for a new stage adaptation of Matthew Lewis’s horror novel, The Monk. Presented by No Nude Men Productions, the show will play EXIT Stage Left, October 10-November 22. Stuart Bousel will direct.
Adapted by Nirmala Nataraj, the story pivots around a 17th century Spanish friar, Ambrosio, and his fall from grace. The cast will star Ryan Hayes as Ambrosio with Margery Fairchild, Meghan E. Kane, Christopher P. Kelly, Rik Lopes, Cassie Powell, Paul Rodrigues, Alison Sacha Ross, Lisa Swanson, James Tinsley, Nathan Tucker, and Rana Weber.
The design team will include Gregorio De Masi (masks), James Tinsley (lighting), Cody Rishell (art), and Lisa Fowle (original music).
