François Arnaud, David Corenswet, and Yvonne Strahovski will star in the Broadway revival of Richard Greenberg’s Three Days of Rain, which will begin performances at a yet-to-be-announced Shubert theater in February 2027.

Arnaud (who will play Pip/Theo) is known to television audiences for his portrayal of hockey player Scott Hunter in the hit Crave and HBO series Heated Rivalry. Corenswet (who will play Walker/Ned) played the title role in the 2025 film adaptation of Superman. Strahovski (who will play Lina/Nan) played Serena Joy Waterford in Hulu’s The Handmaid’s Tale.

Three Days of Rain revolves around an inheritance dispute and several persistent mysteries relating to the dead. It premiered at South Coast Repertory in 1997 and was shortlisted for the 1998 Pulitzer Prize. Julia Roberts famously made her Broadway debut as Lina/Nan (the role to be played by Strahovski) in the 2006 Broadway production. TheaterMania’s review declared, “She’s fine. Really, Julia Roberts is just fine in the show.” Roberts has not returned to Broadway since.

Anna D. Shapiro, who helmed the current off-Broadway revival of Are You Now or Have You Ever Been, will direct the production.

Greenberg was the Tony Award-winning writer of Take Me Out, as well as The Violet HourOur Mother’s Brief Affair, and The Assembled Parties. He died last summer.
