First Look at Long Wharf Theatre's Production of Disgraced by Ayad Akhtar

Gordon Edelstein directs the Pulitzer Prize-winning drama.

Long Wharf Theatre has released production photos from Ayad Akhtar's Disgraced, produced in association with Huntington Theatre Company. The currently running production is scheduled to play through November 8 on the Claire Tow Stage, with Gordon Edelstein directing.

Disgraced, which won the 2013 Pulitzer Prize for Drama, follows Amir and Emily, who enjoy their charmed life in New York. When Amir’s teenaged nephew asks for help in defending an imam accused of funding terrorists, a series of emotionally shattering events upend their perfect world. The cast includes Shirine Babb (Jory), Benim Foster (Isaac), Mohit Gautam (Abe), Nicole Lowrance (Emily), and Rajesh Bose (Amir).

The creative team comprises Lee Savage (sets), Ilona Somogyi (costumes), Eric Southern (lights), David Van Tieghem (sound), and Jeff Brancato (stage manager).
