The new musical revue celebrates the music of Duke Ellington’s years at the Cotton Club.
The Broadway musical After Midnight held its first day of rehearsals on Thursday, September 19, and the production provided TheaterMania with a behind-the-scenes look at the new revue. Joining principal cast members Dulé Hill and Adriane Lenox were costume designers Isabel and Ruben Toledo, who presented the company with sketches of their work in anticipation of the show's first preview on October 18 at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre.
