The members of the Drama Desk Nominating Committee for the 2011-2012 New York theater season have been announced.
The committee will once again be chaired by TheaterMania contributor Barbara Siegel, and will also include Suzanna Bowling (Times Square Chronicles), Lawrence Harbison (Senior Editor & Columnist for Smith and Kraus, Inc.), Mark Peikert (New York Press, Chelsea Clinton News), Richard Ridge (Broadway Beat TV), and Frank Verlizzo (Fraver Design).
The nominating committee will consider all areas of New York theater — including Broadway, Off-Broadway, and Off-Off-Broadway. The awards are traditionally held in May, with nominations announced in late April.
