Disney Releases Poster Art for Live-Action Beauty and the Beast

Emma Watson stars in the film, set for a 2017 release.

Disney's star-studded live-action adaptation of Beauty and the Beast has unveiled its poster art, featuring the iconic rose from the original 1991 animated film.

Set for a March 2017 release, the movie will feature Emma Watson (the Harry Potter series) as Belle, Dan Stevens (Downton Abbey) as the Beast, Luke Evans (The Hobbit) as Gaston, Tony nominee Josh Gad (The Book of Mormon) as LeFou, Emma Thompson (Saving Mr. Banks) as Mrs. Potts, two-time Tony winner Kevin Kline (A Fish Called Wanda) as Maurice, six-time Tony winner Audra McDonald (Shuffle Along) as Garderobe, Ewan McGregor (The Real Thing) as Lumiere, and Tony winner Sir Ian McKellen (Waiting for Godot) as Cogsworth.

Directed by Bill Condon, with a screenplay by Stephen Chbosky, the film will include new recordings of now-classic songs like "Be Our Guest" and the Oscar-winning title number by Howard Ashman and Alan Menken, as well as new songs penned by Menken and Tim Rice.
