Diane Davis and Ryan King will star in Hartford Stage’s production of Christopher Shinn’s two-hander Dying City, January 8-February 8, to be directed by Maxwell Williams.
The play, which was a finalist for the 2008 Pulitzer Prize, revolves around Kelly (Diane), who gets an unexpected visit from the twin brother of her husband (both played by King), who was killed in Iraq.
Davis has appeared on Broadway in Festen and Old Acquaintance and Off-Broadway in Regrets Only. She recently appeared in the New York Musical Theatre Festival’s presentation of Bonnie & Clyde: A Folktale. King appeared Off-Broadway in The Intelligent Design of Jenny Chow.
