
Deborah Zoe Laufer’s End Days will receive its Chicago premiere at Next Theatre Company, October 29 – November 29. Shade Murray will direct.
Laufer’s play about a dysfunctional family undergoing a transformation completes the theater’s 2009-2010 season lineup, which will also include Peter Sinn Nachtrieb’s Boom (September 11 – October 11), Kyle Jarrow’s A Very Merry Unauthorized Children’s Scientology Pageant (December 5 – January 3), the world premiere of Ibrahim Miari’s Return to Haifa (February 4 – March 7), and Jason Loewith and Justin D.M. Palmer’s adaptation of Karel Capek’s novel War With the Newts (May 21 – June 20).
