Dear Evan Hansen Announces a Limited Edition Vinyl Release

Dear Evan Hansen announced the release of a limited edition 12" vinyl picture disc and accompanying digital track available November 17.

The release will include one of the show's most popular songs, "Waving Through a Window," paired with a previously unreleased track, "In the Bedroom Down the Hall," written by Dear Evan Hansen creators Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, and performed by Rachel Bay Jones and Jennifer Laura Thompson. "In the Bedroom Down the Hall" will also be released digitally.

With a Tony-winning score by Pasek and Paul, and a Tony-winning book by Steven Levenson, Dear Evan Hansen is described as follows: "All his life Evan Hansen has felt invisible. To his peers, to the girl he loves, sometimes even to his own mother. But that was before he wrote the letter — that led to the incident — that started the lie — that ignited a movement — that inspired a community — and changed Evan's status from the ultimate outsider into the somebody everyone wants to know. But how long can Evan keep his secret? And at what price?"

Ben Platt's last performance as Evan Hansen will be on November 19.
