David Kingery will direct David Leddick and Andrew Sargent’s musical Escorts…The Docu-Musical, to run June 2-6 at Rising Action Theatre.
Featuring book and lyrics by Leddick and music by Sargent, the show focuses on the stories featured in Leddick’s Escorts…Forty Profiles with Photographs with Men Who Sell Sex.
Leddick and Sargent have collaborated on three other musicals, The Secrets of the Chorus, Quentin and I, and Presenting Gilda Lilly. As a performer, Leddick, who will also star in Escorts, has appeared in It’s A Fabulous Life, 11 O’clock Number, and Some Men, as well as a double-bill of Mr. Charles currently of Palm Beach and his own Mexico City.
Kingery, currently artistic director for Arts at St. Johns on Miami Beach, has directed two previous Leddick and Sarget collaborations: Quentin and I and Presenting Gilda Lily.
