David Deblinger, Mimi Lieber et al. Set for Penguin Rep’s Sirens

David Deblinger, Katie Fabel, Mimi Lieber and Adam Zolotin will star in the New York premiere of Deborah Zoe Laufer’s comedy Sirens, to be presented by Penguin Rep Theatre at its Rockland County home in Stony Point, New York, July 8-31. Joe Brancato will direct.

In the play, Sam (Deblinger), a middle-aged composer with writer’s block, has posted his photo on Facebook but it’s from his wedding and he’s cropped his wife Rose (Lieber) out of the picture. Then the couple’s 25th anniversary cruise to the Greek Isles takes a wild and unforeseen turn.

The design team will include Charles Corcoran (set), Daniel Kluger (sound), Charlotte Palmer-Lane (costumes), and Todd O. Wren (lighting).
