Company of Angels is set to present BLACK WOMEN: State Of The Union, February 20-March 15, a theatrical ensemble work of new words and video, insight and comedy that examines the characteristics of contemporary black womanhood. Ayanna Cahrr and Nataki Garrett will direct.
The production will includes plays by Sigrid Gilmer, Josslyn Luckett, Lisa B. Thompson, and Nia Witherspoon; scenes by Michelle Flowers & Paul Mabon; poems by Ruth Forman; and video by Cauleen Smith. The performance ensemble will feature Kila Kitu, Lonye Perrine, Lee Sherman, Tamika Simpkins,and Paul Mabon.
