Clinton The Musical to End New World Stages Run

The off-Broadway run of Clinton The Musical, now playing at New World Stages, has announced that it will end its run on June 21 after 15 previews and 86 performances. Written by Paul Hodge and Michael Hodge, and directed and choreographed by Tony Award nominee Dan Knechtges, Clinton The Musical follows Hillary and Bill Clinton through the infamous Monica Lewinsky debacle.

The cast features Tony nominee Kerry Butler as Hillary Rodham Clinton, Tom Galantich as WJ Clinton, Duke Lafoon as Billy Clinton, Emmy Award winner Judy Gold as Eleanor Roosevelt, John Treacy Egan as Newt Gingrich, Veronica J. Kuehn as Monica Lewinsky, and Kevin Zak as Kenneth Starr.

Clinton The Musical recently recorded its original cast album with Sh-K-Boom Records which will be release later this year. Producers are currently in discussion to bring Clinton The Musical on the road and to London’s West End.
