Christopher Shinn’s Four to Be Made Into Film

Christopher Shinn’s play Four will be made into a film by writer-director Joshua Sanchez. Shooting is scheduled to begin in the summer of 2010. No casting has been announced.

Four over the course of the fourth of July holiday and centers on a quartet of characters whose lives surprisingly intersect. The play had its world premiere at the Royal Court Theatre in London and was subsequently produced at Manhattan Theatre Club.

Shinn was a Pulitzer Prize finalist for his play Dying City. His other plays include Where Do We Live, What Didn’t Happen, The Coming World, and Other People.
