Christopher Durang to Host Cabaret Series as Part of Bucks County Playhouse’s 2012 Summer Season

The newly renovated Bucks County Playhouse has announced the productions planned for its 2012 summer season.

The season will launch with A Grand Night for Singing (July 2-22), a musical revue of Rodgers and Hammerstein songs, directed by Lonny Price. Then, Sheryl Kaller will direct Neil Simon’s Barefoot in the Park (August 7-26), a look at the trials and tribulations of two newlyweds on the top floor of a New York brownstone.

In addition, the playhouse will present a cabaret series July 19-21 at 11:00 pm and August 16-18 at 11pm at Havana Restaurant & Bar. The July edition will be hosted by award winning playwright Christopher Durang.
