Christina Sajous and More to Join Kristen Holly Smith in Dusty Springfield Musical

The full cast — including Christina Sajous of Broadway’s American Idiot, Baby It’s You! and Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark — has been announced for Forever Dusty, a new musical about music legend Dusty Springfield. The production will be presented beginning November 11 at New World Stages.
Forever Dusty is the story of a shy, awkward Catholic schoolgirl with the cumbersome name of Mary Isobel Catherine Bernadette O’Brien as she transforms herself into an icon for a generation.
In addition to Sajous and the previously announced star Kristen Holly Smith, who will play Dusty, the cast will feature Coleen Sexton, Benim Foster, Sean Patrick Hopkins, Ashley Betton, and Jonathan C. Kaplan.
The design team will include Wilson Chin (set design), Richard DiBella (lighting design), Matt Kraus (sound design), and Nancy Palmatier (costume design).
