Frank Christopher’s play Flutter By’s, will receive a benefit reading at Smoke Jazz Club at 4pm on Sunday, January 8. Lea DeLaria will both appear in and direct the reading. Proceeds will benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.
The piece, which is set in New York circa 2001, examines the lives of the O’Neil family and the lives of their son Anthony’s childhood friends.
The cast will also include Christian Campbell, Cindy Cheung, Michael Cunio, Ann Dowd, Eric Michael Gillett, Gerardo Gudino, Annette Hunt, Brian Kerwin, Lou Liberatore, and America Olivo.
Christopher’s other plays include The Fly In The Fridge and Down and Alive On East One O Five.
