Cheryl Freeman, John P. Keller to Star in Active Theater’s Violet Hour

Broadway veteran Cheryl Freeman and newcomer John P. Keller will star in The Active Theater’s production of Richard Greenberg’s The Violet Hour, to play the Workshop Theater, March 9-25, with an opening on March 12. The play is directed by Nathaniel Shaw and produced in association with Goode Productions.

The play is about a young publisher who struggles to choose his next project while dealing with the appearance of a strange machine that spits out manuscript pages with information about his future.

The cast will also feature Lincoln Thompson, Heather Lee Harper, and Andrew Sellon.

The design team is comprised of Mike Inwood (lighting), Craig Napoliello (set), Jacob Subotnik (sound) and Bobby Pearce (costumes).
