Catia Ojeda, Matt Kalman and Ean Sheey will star in Alex Goldberg’s thriller, It is Done. Tom Wojtunik will direct the site-specific production at The Mean Fiddler Bar & Grill (266 West 47th Street), November 7-December 5, with an opening on November 8.
The ominous play centers on three strangers — each with complicated and dark pasts — who are trapped inside a desolate bar in the middle of nowhere during a ferocious windstorm. Performed in an actual working bar, the intimate production allows the audience to be “flies on the wall” as the actors set the story in motion.
Goldberg has had his plays produced in New York City at The Flea, APAC and FringeNYC among others. His new play America’s Brightest Star is scheduled to premiere at Railroad Playhouse in Newburgh, NY in Spring 2012.
