Cast and Creative team of Off-Broadway’s Rent to be Featured on MTV’s Made

The cast and creative team of the currently running Off-Broadway production of Rent will be featured on an episode of MTV’s Made, scheduled to air June 25 at 4pm.
This season of MTV’s Emmy Award winning series is entitled Made #DreamBigger and focuses on a different young person working towards their goal each week. In March, MTV documented the cast, crew, and the creative team of Rent at New World Stages as they took part in a young woman’s journey to become an actress.
Written by Jonathan Larson and directed by Michael Greif, Rent opened at New World Stages in August 2011. The musical is inspired by the classic opera La Boheme and tells the story of a group of friends in the East Village living and loving during the height of the AIDS epidemic.
