Celebrities such as Carol Channing, Fran Drescher, Melissa Manchester, and Helen Reddy were among the participants at the 2012 California Women’s Conference, held at the Long Beach Convention Center on September 23 and 24.

The event, executive produced by Michelle J. Patterson, had a record breaking 150 speakers and panelists. Among the highlights were performances by Manchester and Reddy; a “The Legendary Ladies of Stage and Screen” panel featuring Channing along with Tippi Hedren, Rose Marie and JoAnne Worley; and a reunion of the women of The Waltons: Judy Norton, Mary McDonough and Kami Cotler.

Additional participants and guests included Donzaleigh Abernathy, Gloria Allred, Judy Carter, Marcia Cross, Mallika Chopra, Frances Fisher, Ilene Graff, Stedman Graham, Geri Jewell, Donna Karan, Carol Lawrence, Sharon Lawrence, Kate Linder, Erin Murphy, Lee Purcell, Diane Watson, and Marianne Williamson.
