Anthony Daniels, the actor who portrayed C-3PO in all six Star Wars films, will provide live narration for the Star Wars: In Concert worldwide tour, which will begin at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California, October 1 and 2 and the Nokia Theatre L.A. LIVE, October 7 and 8.
Dirk Brossé will conduct John Williams’ score, which will be performed by a full symphony orchestra and choir, and accompanied by specially edited footage from the films displayed on a three-story-tall, high-definition LED super-screen. Steve Cohen directs and designs the production, which had its world premiere in London this past April.
An exhibit of Star Wars costumes, props, artifacts, production artwork, and specially created behind-the-scenes videos from the Lucasfilm Archive will accompany the concert. Among the unique items displayed are the full costumes for Jedi Masters Kit Fisto and Plo Koon and pages from John Williams’ original hand-written sheet music for Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace.
