Alison Briner, Ray Fellman, Malcolm Gets, and Paul Oakley Stovall will be among the performers at the Eugene O’Neill Theater Center’s Gala, to be held at 6:30pm on Saturday, July 19.
The gala will feature selections from 30 years of musicals that were part of the Center’s National Musical Theatre Conference, including Tony Award winners Avenue Q, and Nine, Off-Broadway hits The Wild Party, Violet, The Bubbly Black Girl Sheds Her Chameleon Skin, as well as Farenheit 451 and Iron Curtain. Additional selections and performers will be announced shortly.
The event will honor founding National Music Theater Conference artistic director Paulette Haupt, and will include the announcement of the 208 Georgia Bogardus Holof Lyricist Award.
