Brian Cox will star in the new BBC4 comedy, Bob Servant Independent, according to a report on the website for the UK magazine, The Stage.
The three-part series is based on Neil Forsyth’s Bob Servant books, and the BBC Radio Scotland comedy, The Bob Servant Emails. Also featured will be Rufus Jones, Pollyanna McIntosh, and Jonathan Watson.
Cox’s Broadway credits include last season’s revival of That Championship Season, as well as Rock ‘n’ Roll, Art, and Strange Interlude.
