Bret Michaels, the lead singer of the rock group Poison, has settled a lawsuit with CBS and the organizers of the Tony Awards, according to The Associated Press.
As previously reported, Michaels suffered a busted lip and broken nose when he was hit in the head by a piece of scenery during the June 2009 Tony Awards ceremony at Radio City Music Hall. In his lawsuit, Michaels claimed the accident contributed to a brain hemorrhage in April 2010, for which he was treated for and hospitalized.
The terms of the settlement have not been disclosed, although the AP quotes a joint statement from the Tony Award producers and CBS saying that it was “an amiable resolution.”
