Casting has been announced for Martin M. Zuckerman’s stage adaptation of John Dos Passos’ Manhattan Transfer, to run July 8 – August 1 at Turtle Shell Theater. Kathleen Swan will direct the production.
The play, like the novel, is a look at the interconnected stories of three Manhattanites, including an ambitious lawyer, a tenacious young actress and an idealistic reporter.
The company will feature Brad Coolidge (George), Casandera M.J. Lollar (Ellen), Nick Fesette (Jimmy), Philipp Christopher (Congo), Rick Dettwyler (Jeff Merivale), Kelley Dorney (Nellie), Anthony J. Gallo (Detective/Mike Cardinale), Jenn Goodson (Nevada), Rachel Halper (Cassie), Mark A. Keeton (Jojo), Briana Paken (Ruth), John L Payne (Gus), and Adam Shorsten (Stan).
The creative team will include Jackie McCarthy (scenic design), Stephen Sakowski (lighting design), A. Christina Giannini (costume design), Rocco D’Santi (projection design), and Josh Millican (sound design).
