ArtsBridge is set to present the ArtsBridge Summer NYC 2012 program, August 5-17 at Chelsea Studios.
The program’s main purpose is to connect student performers with dynamic program directors from America’s top performing arts colleges. Faculty will include ArtsBridge Artistic Director and Director of Musical Theatre at Pace University Amy Rogers, Associate Professor of Acting at Carnegie Mellon University Ingrid Sonnichsen, Associate Professor of Acting at Emerson College David Krasner, Associate Professor of Musical Theatre at Carnegie Mellon University Gary Kline, Musical Theater Dance Coordinator at Boston Conservatory Michelle Chassé, and Associate Professor of Musical Theatre and Dance at Rider University Robin Lewis.
ArtsBridge is a multi-disciplinary consultancy that provides student performers with specialized guidance on what it takes to be a working artist while taking a close look at the college admission process. High school and college transfer students seriously considering a college major or minor in the performing arts will learn how to make the right college choice, the importance of collaboration, and will gain valuable assistance on the college applications process.
