Annapolis Summer Garden Theatre’s Musical Theatre’s 2011 Teen Camp

Registration is now open for Annapolis Summer Garden Theatre’s Musical Theatre Workshop for Teens. The session will run August 6-10 from 9am-4pm with a final rehearsal on August 13 from 5-10pm.
The workshop culminates in a Broadway-style musical revue with two final performances for friends and family on August 14-15 at 8:30pm. Performances will be held at the Annapolis Summer Garden Theatre in downtown Annapolis.
This special workshop explores drama and vocal skills, monologues, cold readings, audition techniques, and styles of dance. Theater games, scene work, movement, and improvisation are used to gain a better understanding of musical productions. Teens must have completed the 7th grade in order to register.
