Casting is set for the Bucks County Playhouse production of The New World, running November 7-December 2.
The New World features a book by Regina DeCicco and L.F. Turner, music by Gary Adler, and lyrics by Phoebe Kreutz. Stafford Arima will direct, with Lorin Latarro providing choreography. The show reimagines the myth of the first meeting of the Pilgrims and Native Americans.
In the company are Ann Harada, Julius Thomas III, Jillian Gottlieb, Jennifer Perry, Ginna Le Vine, Clyde Alves, Eddie Cooper, Ann Sanders, Rod Singleton, Tyler Maynard, Adena Ershow, Yael Rizowy, Kiet Tai Cao, Danny Bevins, Brandon Weber, and Annelise Cepero.
Anna Louizos is scenic designer, with Jen Caprio designign costumes, Kirk Bookman on lighting, Joshua D. Reid on sound, and J. Jared Janas designing wigs, hair, and makeup. Paul Masse is musical director, with Danny Troob serving as orchestrator. Sam Davis provides dance arrangements.
