American Repertory Theatre is set to present Woody Sez – The Life and Music of Woodie Guthrie, May 5-26 at Loeb Drama Center. Nick Corley directs. Musical direction will be by David M. Lutken.
Devised by David M. Lutken with Nick Corley, Woody Sez brings Guthrie to life using his own words and songs, performed by the company of four actor/singers who play over twenty instruments.
The cast will feature David M. Lutken, Darcie Deaville, Helen Jean Russell, Andy Teirstein, and David Finch (May 22-25).
The creative team will include Luke Hegel-Cantarella (set design), Jeffrey Meek (costume design), and Matt Frey (lighting design).
