Amanda Leigh Jerry Receives New Line’s Musical Theatre Scholarship

Amanda Leigh Jerry will attend Carnegie Mellon University.

New Line Theatre awarded senior Amanda Leigh Jerry of Nerinx Hall High School in St. Louis their 4th annual Musical Theatre Scholarship. The scholarship is funded through donations by New Line supporters and is selected by Judith Newmark.

The New Line Theatre features alternative musical productions. Their scholarship is given to a senior who shows potential to make outstanding artistic theatre contributions.

Amanda Leigh Jerry plans to major in musical theatre at Carnegie Mellon University. She has appeared in many productions at her high school, as well as through St. Louis’ Fine Arts Theatre Company and Insight Theatre Company, with leading roles in Les Miserables, Into the Woods, West Side Story, and Where’s Charley?.
