
California Shakespeare Theater has announced the productions planned for its 2013 season.
The season will open with Richard James Montoya’s American Night: The Ballad of Juan José (May 29-June 23), a collaboration with Culture Clash that draws equally from pop culture and Shakespeare. Jonathan Moscone will direct. Next, Amanda Dehnert will direct Romeo and Juliet (July 3-28).
As the season continues, director and actor Christopher Liam Moore will direct Oscar Wilde’s Lady Windermere’s Fan (August 14-September 18). The season will conclude with a production of Shakespeare’s A Winter’s Tale (September 25-October 20), with direction by Patricia McGregor and choreography by Paloma McGregor.
