Allison Janney, Rita Moreno, and Steven Weber are all set to guest star on USA Network’s In Plain Sight during its third season, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The drama series, about two U.S. Marshals who facilitate relocating federal witnesses, stars Mary McCormack and Fred Weller.
Janney will appear in two episodes in which she will portray a newly-appointed US Marshal for the district who butts heads with McCormack’s character. Weber is also slated to appear on two episodes, playing an FBI agent with a fresh view on how federal witnesses should be handled. Moreno will appear as a woman who comes into McCormack’s life as she is planning her wedding. Josh Cooke and Tess Harper are also slated for guest appearances during the coming year.
Janney, a four-time Emmy Award winner for her work on The West Wing, was most recently seen on Broadway in 9 to 5: The Musical. Among her other stage credits are A View From the Bridge and Present Laughter. She currently can be seen on Showtime’s Shameless.
Weber was most recently seen on Broadway in The Philanthropist. Among his other stage credits are The Producers, Loot, and The Real Thing. He may be best known for his work on television’s Wings.
Moreno won the Academy Award for her performance in West Side Story; the Tony Award for The Ritz; the Grammy Award for her recording of The Electric Company; and two Emmy Awards for her television performances in The Rockford Files and The Muppet Show.
