An update list of performers has been announced for the Whatsonstage.com Awards Concert at 7pm on Sunday, February 14 at the West End’s Prince of Wales Theatre. The ceremony, at which the winners in this year’s tenth annual “theatregoers’ choice” accolades will be announced, is held in aid of this year’s adopted charity, Theatre Royal Haymarket Masterclass.
The concert is directed and devised by Russell Labey, with musical supervision by Iain Vince Gatt, lighting by Mike Robertson, sound by Ben Harrison, and choreography by Andrew Wright.
The concert will be co-hosted by Legally Blonde star Sheridan Smith and Christopher Biggins. It will feature performances from Lucy May Barker, Adam Ellis,Siobhan McCarthy, Stephen Carlile, Lorna Want, Jodie Prenger, Hannah Waddingham, Charlotte Wakefield, Ryan Molloy, Leanne Jones, Sally Anne Triplett, and the casts of Priscilla Queen of the Desert, Les Miserables, The Pirates of Penzance, and the upcoming West End production of The Fantasticks.
This year’s nominees include Fiona Shaw, Ian McKellen, Jane Horrocks, Jez Butterworth, Julian Ovenden, Lesley Garrett, Lesley Sharp, Mackenzie Crook, Mark Rylance, Miriam Margolyes, Patrick Stewart, and Rupert Goold.
