Playwrights Horizons has announced complete casting for the New York premiere of Fly by Night: A New Musical, conceived by Kim Rosenstock, written by Will Connolly, Michael Mitnik, and Rosenstock, and directed by Carolyn Cantor.

The cast will feature Allison Case (Hands on a Hardbody), Adam Chanler-Berat (Peter and the Starcatcher), Tony nominee Peter Friedman (The Great God Pan), Michael McCormick (Chaplin), Patti Murin (Love's Labour's Lost), Bryce Ryness (First Date), and Henry Stram (Inherit the Wind).

The comic rock-fable, set against the backdrop of the northeast blackout of 1965, tells the story of a melancholy sandwich-maker (Berat) whose humdrum life collides with two entrancing sisters (Chase and Murin). Performances begin May 16 in advance of a June 10 opening, and will run through June 29 on the Mainstage Theater.

Playwrights Horizons has also announced that Ken Marks will join the cast of Sarah Ruhl's new comedy, Stage Kiss, in the role of The Husband for the play's final weeks on the Mainstage. He begins performances tonight, taking over for Tony nominee Daniel Jenkins, who is unable to continue with the show's extension because of a prior commitment. Marks joins a cast featuring Tony nominee Jessica Hecht, Patrick Kerr, Clea Alsip, Michael Cyril Creighton, Dominic Fumusa, and Emma Galvin. The show will offer performances through April 6.
