After an acclaimed South London run in an actual pie shop, Tooting Arts Club's acclaimed site-specific revival of Stephen Sondheim and Hugh Wheeler's Sweeney Todd will move to the West End in a newly created pop-up pie shop on Shaftesbury Avenue.

Harrington's Mash and Pie Shop, one of London's oldest establishments of that nature, originally housed the production, which ran from October-December 2014. Each performance accommodated only 32 audience members to view Bill Buckhurst's paired-down staging, featuring a cast of eight and a band of three.

While Harrington's undergoes refurbishments, Tooting Arts Club will now remount the show at a specially designed, exactly replicated Harrington's in the heart of the West End from March 12-May 16. The show is presented by special arrangement with producer Cameron Mackintosh.

The company is led by Jeremy Secomb in the title role and Siobhán McCarthy as Mrs. Lovett. The company also includes Ian Mowat, Nadim Naaman, Duncan Smith, Joseph Taylor, Kiara Jay, and Zoë Doano.
