Erica Schmidt directs her world premiere play.
The New Group's production of Erica Schmidt's world premiere play All the Fine Boys opened last night, Wednesday, March 1, at Pershing Square Signature Center. Abigail Breslin and the cast were on hand to celebrate. Check out photos from the event in the gallery below.
In the play, 14-year-old best friends Jenny and Emily are hungry for knowledge and experience. In suburban South Carolina in the late '80s, experience is readily found with older boys. Emily chooses her senior crush from the high school play, and Jenny, a man she's seen at her family's church.
Joining Breslin in the cast is Isabelle Fuhrman, Joe Tippett, and Alex Wolff. Schmidt directs from her own script.
This production features scenic design by Amy Rubin, costume design by Tom Broecker, lighting design by Jeff Croiter, and sound design by Bart Fasbender.
