The 66th Annual Tony Awards, presented by The Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing, will be held on Sunday, June 10 at the Beacon Theatre. The ceremony will be broadcast live on CBS, 8pm-11pm ET/delayed PT.
The awards, established by in 1947, are named after actress/director/producer Antoinette Perry, and annually honor outstanding work on Broadway. They have been broadcast on CBS since 1978.
The official eligibility cut-off date for this year’s awards — which cover all Broadway productions opening in the 2011-2012 season — is Thursday, April 26.
