The Off Broadway Alliance has announced the dates for its upcoming 20at20 promotion. From September 3-22, New York theatergoers will be able to take in some of the city’s greatest theatrical offerings for only $20 a ticket. An assortment of 39 off-Broadway plays and musicals will sell $20 tickets to audience members who come to the box office 20 minutes before curtain. Participating shows include the popular Peter and the Starcatcher, Fuerza Bruta, Tennessee Williams’ The Two Character Play, and NEWSical the Musical.
“We are thrilled to be able to offer $20 tickets to many of New York’s most popular and exciting off-Broadway shows,” said Peter Breger, chairman of the Off Broadway Alliance. “Here’s your chance to catch up with shows you may have missed, get a sneak peek at the newest hits, or revisit a favorite show – all for just 20 bucks.”
